What a great weekend! After 2 toy drives and $1,000 of donations spent buying toys at Walmart, we managed to deliver a whole van full of toys to Myanna's Heart (www.myannasheart.com), a non-profit organization that provides toys and other supplies to kids who are recovering from heart surgeries in the hospitals. Thanks to everyone who helped make this initiative possible!
Want to volunteer for events just like this? Barbera Foundation supports a new non-profit organization each quarter of the year. Ticket sales from our events in that particular quarter go to the featured quarterly non profit. In addition to providing $$, we also help to promote these non profits to you all so that they get the exposure they deserve!
Next up.. Ainsley's Angels (https://ainsleysangels.org/).. I participated in a 10 mile race last week with Ainsley's Angels and am very motivated in helping them out. Basically they provide opportunities for those who have disabilities to participate in endurance running events like marathons, 10 milers, 5ks, etc. As an avid runner and someone who likes to help people in need, this is right up my alley. The goal is to raise enough money to purchase Ainsley's Angels another racing wheelchair.. (about $1.5-2.5k) in the first quarter of 2020. Let's start the new year off right and help them out!
Please visit www.barberafoundation.org for more details about our non-profit along with ways to give back to those in need!
-Be the change you wish to see in the world-
Thanks and see you at one of our events soon!
